A Town Gown* Success Story!
During the
first year of the UNI Iowa Lakes Science Camp, Ms. Barb Sallis, a teacher from
Logan Middle School, joined the students to gain experience with water quality
activities. The next Fall on September 25, 2001 she developed a unit for her class and collaborated
with UNI Science teaching majors for a field trip at George Wyth State
Park. Thirteen UNI students taught seven labs to 63 sixth graders in Ms.
Sallis's classes.
