Basic CNS Student Service Inventory

Introduction

This document contains a listing of the basic services that are provided by the College of Natural Sciences System Administration to the students of the college. This by no means is a complete list of all services that are available. Nor does this list limit the extension or growth of the available services. This document was written as an introduction to outline a basic list of services a student should expect to receive through the CNS. If there is a question as to the availability of a service please contact manager@cns.uni.edu.
Web Publishing Services
Each student account is setup to allow them the ability to publish web pages, and create interactive CGI applications. These are accessible through:

If this feature is desired in a classroom or other location, the user needs to contact CNS Systems Administration via email at manager@cns.uni.edu and we will work with the user to configure these systems to use samba.
