2004 The World Championship of
Intercollegiate Solar Boating  Results


The 2004 Solar Splash 11th World Championship was held in Buffalo, New York from June 18-22. Overall, 17 teams from USA, Canada, and Europe were listed to compete in the week long event.

2004 Team members consisted of Dan Frisch, Eric Schumacher, Jamie Ruth, Jack Steuben, Matt Brustkern, Phil Tentinger, Cullen Hall &
Dr. Reg Pecen.

They did an outstanding job and won
FOUR trophies!

1st Trophy:
FASTEST boat in Qualifications for second day of event.

2nd Trophy:
The Most Improved Team from last year with 360 more points.

3rd Trophy:
The most commercially feasible boat hull design.

4th Trophy:
9th in overall competition!
