This year was UNI's best year in the Solar Boat Competition! The 2008 Solar Splash 15th World Championship was held in Fayetteville, Arkansas from June 18-22.

2008 Team members consisted of Douglas Bechthold, Ryan Canfield, Ben Kambach and Tony Wagner & faculty advisor Dr. Recayi Pecen.

UNI Solar Boat Team won the fourth place in overall championship, fourth place in qualifying, and also won the first place in engineering design visual display. Please scroll down this page to see the official scores.
