2009 Solar Splash Results


This year was UNI's best year in the Solar Boat Competition!

The 2009 Solar Splash 14th World Championship was held in Fayetteville, Arkansas from May 27-31. Teams from USA, Canada, and Europe were listed to compete in the week long event.


2009 Team members consisted of Kyle Ross, Ben Kambach, Douglass Bechthold, Hannah Loan, Tony Wagner, Damon Knowling& faculty advisor Dr. Recayi Pecen.


They did an outstanding job and won a trophy for
"OUTSTANDING electrical system design ."
