Mission Statement
Our mission is to apply solar technology to boating in an effort to promote clean energy to keep Iowa
waters free of pollution. This is multidisciplinary engineering technology project that includes students
from many majors across UNI campus to stimulate Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM)
in young Iowans. We are proud of our solar boat project and our sponsors who help keep Iowa lakes
and rivers clean for future generations.
